Lioness Club of Simpang Rengam jointly with the sponsoring Club visit the orphanage home - Persatuan Kebajikan Ellijah Misi Kulai. The home have 42 orphanage, stay in three terrace houses (rented), 20 women senior citizen stay in one rented terrace houses and 18 men senior citizen in another rented terrace house. The have to cook and serve food for about 80 orphanage and old folks everyday. It is a large amount of expenses for the home.

Blood Donation at Klinik Kesihatan Simpang Rengam Dated 09 August 2009

Lioness President Lee Soo Hong is the successful donor-accompaied by the lionesses

The blood donation drive was jointly carried out with the Hospital Kluang, Hospital Pantai Batu Pahat & local NGOS at Klinik Kesihatan Simpang Rengam. It started at around 9.00am and successfully ended at 3.00pm.

A total of 102 bags of Blood were collected. 138 intended donors were registered but only 102 were accepted.Our Sponsoring Club- Lions Club of Simpang Rengam sponsored 1100 units of eggs to the blood donors. Malta drinks & mineral water were sponsored by the jointly Ngos.

A big thank to Hospital Pantai Batu Pahat for joining us to carry out the project there.They provide Blood Glucose Test, Blood Pressure , Body Mass Index and Cholesterol test to the local public and also gifts were given to the successful blood donors . Apart from that, we must also not forgeting the support and participation from Lioness Club of Simpang Rengam-80% of our BOD participated in this project.

Our Lioness President Lns Lee Soo Hong & 1VP Lns Seow Siew Hoon are brave. They are also the successful donor. We stay until the last minute to clean the clinic and happy for the job well done.
